Thankyou Nikki, Lisa, Clive and all the team at Barringtons for providing our family with such a personal and professional service. As well as keeping mum safe, comfortable and peaceful over 3 weeks you have been there for us in every way. We could not have asked for more in helping us prepare for mum’s funeral - you literally thought of everything to ensure that mum’s final rest and journey was comfortable, peaceful, beautiful. Everything from the wicker casket, chapel of rest, beautiful flowers arranged by Beverley, doves, order of service design, amazing celebrant, transport via Conewood nursing home. One aspect that I draw on and I know will stay with me forever is visiting my mum in the chapel of rest. Seeing mum so peaceful enabled me to say goodbye in a most beautiful setting. At Barringtons you provide a personal and professional service but so much more - what will stay with us is the unlimited time you gave us as a family during a most difficult time. We can never thank you enough. XX

The understanding and genuine care felt from Nikki and Lisa at Barringtons made everything so much easier. They were sensitive and professional at all times but with a personal touch which left us feeling like friends were helping us to organise everything. They even gave us a lift somewhere once! I would highly recommend the service. They also told us about a lovely Celebrant called Victoria who we used and who had a similar way.

It’s unusual to find two ladies as funeral directors but Lisa and Nikki are brilliant and take all the stress out of the funeral process. They are friendly, hospitable, and modern, but they are also efficient, compassionate and understanding, making it all a positive experience. They will help with all aspects and can also advise who to contact, from the celebrant to a florist and caterer, so it made the whole process easy. Thanks to them we gave my sister a great send off and I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Words cannot describe how lovely Lisa and Nikki are. They both have the most warmest and loveliest hearts. Nan was well cared for and had the best send off. Lisa recommended an amazing celebrant who gave the most special service. Nothing was too much and we could text anytime. This was my first experience of a close relative passing and I wasn’t sure about the chapel of rest. However Lisa walked my cousins and I in and stayed with us till we felt comfortable. I’m so glad I got to say goodbye to Nan in such a beautiful setting. Another special thanks goes to Clive who helped with the funeral cars and logistics. All at Barringtons are respectful and professional and make you feel apart of their family. I wouldn’t go to anybody else. Thank you once again xxx

I cannot praise Nikki and Lisa more highly for the professional way in which they organised my mother's funeral in January 2024. They were always there whenever we had questions and to sensitively guide my sister and I through the decisions we had to make. Everything went as smooth as clockwork behind the scenes on the actual funeral day enabling us to focus on saying our last goodbyes to Mum. Forget the larger funeral chains. Nikki and Lisa are superb at their job and i would recommend them to anyone.
